GO2 Delivery is actively partnering with professional Independent Contract Couriers to fulfill time-sensitive medical deliveries in the Richmond, VA area. We have immediate evening opportunities — ideal for anyone looking to earn consistent supplemental income between 4PM and 11PM, Monday - Friday.

Whether you drive for rideshare, make local runs, or are simply looking for reliable evening work, this is a strong fit.

Shift Highlights

Primary window: 4PM – 11PM, 7 days a week
Pharmacy routes: Scheduled pickups at 4:30PM, 6PM and 7PM — predictable and efficient
STAT medical deliveries: Urgent pickups and drop-offs of specimens and pharmaceuticals throughout the evening
Additional availability: Opportunities also exist during the 9AM–5PM window, Monday–Sunday

What You'll Do

Pick up and deliver STAT medical items — specimens, pharmaceuticals, and time-sensitive orders
Complete pharmacy route deliveries on a structured evening schedule
Operate as a self-employed Independent Contractor (1099) — you run your own business
Use your own small to mid-size vehicle
Represent yourself professionally at every stop — our clients expect it

Contractor Requirements

Age: 23 or older (insurance requirement)
Driver's License: Valid; no DUIs in last 10 years; max 2 infractions
Auto Insurance: Commercial policy — $100K/$300K liability, max $5,000 deductible
Background Check: Must pass criminal background screening
Appearance: Professional presentation required by our clients

Doing medical courier work requires a great sense of urgency, attention to details and a professional and courteous demeanor. Pickup would need to be made within 20 minutes of receiving the job. You must proceed directly to delivery location after pickup with no stops or delays in between. Are you able to meet these expectations from our clients?*

Tell us the time period(s) that your business would be operating and open to receive jobs from GO2 Delivery. Pharmacy pickups occur at 4pm and 6pm, and 7pm in different areas of Richmond. Please list days and hours you are open for business.*

The minimum auto insurance requirements of $100,000/$300,000 Single Limit of Liability and no more than $5,000 deductible must be maintained in order to contract as a courier. Do you currently have or intend to ensure that you have this level of coverage?*

Since you are starting your own business, there will be some minor start up and ongoing costs. The start up cost is $109.00 and includes the following: Criminal Background/Driving Record Check ($54.00 minimum, but cost is variable based on what states are being checked), Medical Courier HIPAA/Bloodborne Pathogen Certification ($45.00) and account set up fee with Open Force ($10.00). You will need to acquire your own supplies - (coolers, spill kit, gloves,ice packs) prior to starting). Do you understand these costs and requirements?*

Recurring bi-weekly costs include - 2.97% fee (based on gross earnings) for Open Force Membership. This membership includes direct deposits of settlements, 1099, Occupational/Accidental Insurance and other benefits. The delivery software/ESChat is $27.50 bi-weekly. Do you understand these costs?*

As an Independent Contract Courier, you would be representing GO2 Delivery and our clients. We choose to contract couriers that will represent us professionally and share our vision of providing amazing customer service. The next step in the process is to complete a video interview to answer some basic questions. If you are selected to move on from there, the next step would be a virtual business meeting.
