📍 Location: Richmond, VA
🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday (Flexibility required; may include early mornings, evenings, or midshifts)
GO2 Delivery is growing! As a leading medical courier service specializing in time-sensitive pharmaceutical and medical specimen deliveries, we are expanding our field operations and seeking a Delivery Operations Coordinator to support daily execution, ensure service excellence, and provide hands-on operational support in the Richmond market.
This role is more field-based than a traditional office position and will include actively assisting with deliveries, onboarding and coordinting Independent Contract Couriers, and resolving real-time operational challenges. The position reports to the Operations Manager and plays a key role in maintaining smooth, compliant, and reliable delivery operations.

What You’ll Do:
Support Daily Delivery Operations – Assist with route execution, monitor delivery progress, and step in to complete deliveries as needed.
Perform Deliveries – Cover routes or urgent orders when operational needs require hands-on support.
Field-Based Problem Solving – Address delivery issues, delays, and urgent requests in real time to maintain service levels.
Onboard Independent Contract Couriers – Coordinate and conduct contractor onboarding, including orientation, client orientation, system access, compliance documentation, and performance expectations.
Contractor Support & Readiness – Ensure new contractors are familiar, equipped, and prepared to operate independently and in compliance with client standards and expectations.
Coordinate with Dispatch & Drivers – Serve as a key liaison between dispatch and Independent Contract Couriers.
Prioritize Customer Service – Act as an on site point of contact for client questions, service escalations, and on-site issue resolution.
Optimize Routes & Scheduling – Assist in efficient driver assignments and coverage planning.
Reinforce Company Standards – Lead by example in professionalism, safety, compliance, and service quality.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 2–3+ years in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or field operations.
Onboarding & Training Experience: Comfortable training contractors and ensuring readiness before independent route execution.
Hands-On Mindset: Willingness to work in the field and complete deliveries when needed.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate expectations and provide feedback to contractors.
Customer-Focused: Commitment to high service standards.
Tech-Savvy: Experience using dispatch software, GPS tools, and mobile applications.
Medical Courier Experience: A plus, but not required.
Pay & Benefits:
💰 Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 annually (based on experience)
