Brand Marketing Manager

General Summary

On behalf of our client, A local investment company that owns and manages two unique up and coming apparel brands is seeking to hire a Brand Marketing Manager to manage, develop and grow each. These two brands are solely focused in the online or ecommerce space. This is a unique opportunity in which the right candidate may earn equity based on one’s success.

  • Both brands have unique and real positions in their respective markets.
  • The successful candidate must have a high level and proven experience with social media marketing with product based businesses
  • We are looking for a passionate and driven person to help build these business and that they have an entrepreneurial spirit . We will pay a salary and there will be the opportunity of equity as well.
  • This role is to help formulate and execute the marketing strategy and to manage and report on the results. Weekly updates reporting on progress of metrics.
  • This position works closely with the social media team, design team and reports to and works with founders.

You will be expected to provide strong communication skills, a hands on approach, provide analytical and strategic skills. Passion with honesty and integrity is a must and a real opportunity for an entrepreneurial person who is looking for a huge opportunity.

 

Main Tasks

 

Customer Service

  • Oversee day to day customer service and update customer service policies and procedures when needed

Order Processing and fulfilment

  • Oversee and maintain positive working relationships with fulfilment and distribution centres
  • Ensure smoothly day to day running of logistics
  • Manage cost control

Social Media

  • Formulating and responsible for strategy and implementation of strategy.
  • Managing and analysing metrics to maximise return and explore new improved tactics
  • To ensure the best schedule of social media activity is planned and implemented
  • Keep strategies in a forward momentum by maintaining social media awareness with new strategies and techniques for success.

Analytics and Metrics

  • Analysing and reporting on daily statistics and monthly detailed reporting
  • Managing and finding new ways of growing reach and conversions

Budgets and Targets

  • Helping formulate sales and responsible for budgets and targets
  • Implementation and managing these targets into reality

Giving back

  • Helping formulate and fine tune giving back program
  • Managing and running the plan
  • Help to create social campaigns to drive awareness and action from the partnership

Planning

  • Working with key advisors to formulate and fine tune plans
  • Forecasting and inventory planning, making sure sufficient inventory on hand

Marketing

  • Oversee and manage the marketing function
  • Help formulate innovative marketing strategies with stakeholders and implementation
  • Attracting publicity and exposure opportunities
  • Manage and grow affiliate programme

KPI’S

  • Successful execution and management of marketing plan
  • Contribution to formulation of a logical, clear and achievable marketing plan
  • Regular, accurate, relevant and clear reporting to the business
  • High customer satisfaction levels and timely management of customer service
  • Accurate inventory control

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, business or similar
  • Strong successful track record
  • Self-starter, driven to succeed and motivated
  • Numeric and analytical
  • Passionate and ability to get things done
  • Humble and honest
