Full Charge Bookkeeper

Fulfilltopia Distribution & Logistics is a 3rd Party Logistics organization, providing warehousing, shipping and transportation services for manufacturers and companies who create and sell products. The Bookkeeper position is a new position to assist the Finance Team on handling the day to day accounting tasks and activities.

About the position:

We are looking for a seasoned Full Charge Bookkeeper to work 30-35 hours per week to assist our Finance department. We're flexible on the schedule. The successful candidate must have:

  • Minimum Associates Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years work experience
  • Strong Excel Skills

Other work experience previous titles accepted:

Accounting Clerk, Accounting Manager, Staff Accountant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for the Bookkeeper positioninclude the following:

  • Perform all bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, month-end close, general ledger reconciliations and reporting.
  • Reconcile customer accounts to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Review, verify and record payment transactions.
  • Research and resolve all discrepancies and make adjustments to accounts as needed.
  • Prepares financial statements, reports and analysis.
  • Conduct monthly audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare regular Operational reports of key performance indicators for management.
  • Assist Management with administrative duties as requested
  • Backup Key Personnel when out of the office
  • Type and word process documents as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
