Successful Dispatcher
Must be flexible to fill in when needed.  An individual who is willing to go the extra mile and complete work in a timely manner, all the while maintaining great working relationships within the company and outside clients. Attention to detail is a must. Is responsible for directing and dispatching multiple couriers in Hampton Roads and surrounding cities.  This individual should have a high standard of customer service skills and be able to multi-task.  Must have a standard knowledge of computers and database software.  Will be working with multi-phone line system and two way radio's for interaction with couriers, client and employees. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Previous dispatcher, customer service and/or telephone-related experience
  • Availability to work a varied schedule, including 2nd shift and weekends
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and lead in emergency situations
  • Ability to interact with the public and co-workers in a positive professional manner
  • Outstanding listening & phone etiquette skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An understanding of what it means to provide excellent customer service
  • Interact with our clients, including communicating problems and updates as needed.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy
  • Possess a Valid Virginia Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Have current transportation.
  • Ability to climb a step ladder
  • Have geographical knowledge of the area.
  • Typing skills/computer skills
